"Patron" is available as an art print and art card.
Art Prints are printed on a heavyweight matt card stock paper, each print measures 7.5" x 9.5" with and comes with an accent black matt (reverse side is white) and backing to fit nicely into an 11" x 14" frame. Another option is to cut the print down to fit into an 8"x10" frame.

Each print is signed by me.
*Frame not included
Art Cards measure 5.5" x 5.5", printed on a nice glossy card stock paper. Each card comes with an envelope.

The inside of the card is left blank for you to add your own special greeting and the back includes the title of the original artwork, how it was created and an artist bio.

Please recycle or reuse my greeting cards to ensure minimal environmental impact - a card can be mounted and framed to create a wonderful, mini-art print.
Inspired by the lens of Alaska-based wildlife photographer, Blue Moose Photography 89, the original artwork was brought to life through a unique mixed media process, with an ancient technique called pyrography (aka wood burning) on live edge yellow cedar wood. The image was further enhanced with metallic acrylic paint for the water and colored pencil to deepen the shadows on his face.

Patron, a Coastal Brown Bear, currently resides at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation. Coastal bears are commonly referred to as brown bears and tend to be larger than their cousins the grizzly bears because they have better access to rich fish runs. Did you know brown bears can weigh up to 700 pounds and stand as tall as 9.5 feet!

Be aware that colors may vary on different computer monitors and different lighting conditions. I try to capture the true colors and personality that I see when holding the art in my hand.
