The original artwork was inspired by the amazing reference photo by Brenda de Jongste of Dutchrose Studio Photography. The entire time I was creating this piece I was brought back to the time I spent in Africa on the Maasai Mara in search of these amazing cats. Kenay got his name for the flower around his pupil in his left eye and currently resides in France.

The original artwork was brought to life through a unique mixed media process, with an ancient technique called pyrography (aka wood burning) on live edge basswood. The image was further enhanced with acrylic paint for the background and some fur highlights and a hint of colored pencil to bring life to his eyes.

Postcards measure 5"x7”. Standard postcard sized print that has a soft velvet touch to provide a more memorable experience with quality that you can feel. Not only are they luxurious but also durable, printed on premium 16pt paper because we know you’re going to want to be touching them.

The back side has the original artwork name on the back with lots of room left for you to add your own special greeting.
