Inspired by my trip to Thailand where I spent a magical day along the river with this lady, The original was brought to life through a unique mixed media process, starting with an ancient technique called pyrography (aka wood burning) and enhanced with acrylic paint and colored pencils on live edge wood that compliments the subject.
"My Thai" is an Asian Elephant who currently resides in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
