Original mixed media miniature art, hand burned and painted abstract realism polar bear.

Polar bears are well adapted to survive in one of the harshest environments on our planet. With their thick fur and layer of fat that insulates their bodies from the frosty air and near-freezing water, they get to soak up the beautiful dancing waves of light.

"Polar Ice" started as a slow burn on live edge elm wood using the pyrography technique, then color added using a mix of metallic acrylic paint and lastly sealed for UV protection.

Please note! no laser was used to create this handcrafted piece.

Miniatures are great as ornaments on your tree (drill a hole & add string), display in a small space to add some holiday cheer or as a coaster to add a bit of happy to your everyday when enjoying your morning coffee or favorite beverage.

Measures ~4-1/2" x ~4-1/4" in diameter.

A clear acrylic display stand is included with this piece. Or a hole can be added making it into a hanging ornament.
